"It is known that parents’ involvement in their child’s education can have a significant positive impact on their educational outcomes. The objective of the survey, which is summarised in this document, was to investigate the extent and variety of parents’ involvement in their children’s schooling.
The survey took place between August and October 2007 and involved 5032 telephone interviews with a representative sample of parents of children aged 5 to 16 who attend state school."
