Abstract |
Lifelong Learning UK undertakes a variety of research to generate labour market intelligence. ‘Core’ or ‘central’ research is the foundation of the labour market intelligence that Lifelong Learning UK holds as a Sector Skills Council. It includes information and data on volume, demographics, skills and training needs of the lifelong learning workforce in the four nations of the UK. This is the research that we do irrespective of project funding and stems from the organisational objectives and direction, as set out in our strategic and business plans, our the Sector Skills Assessments (SSA), and our Sector Qualifications Strategy (SQS).
