Abstract |
The article discusses the implementation of block scheduling model in middle school education. High school faculties have realized the importance of a well-designed schedule and have started to effect block-off-time models that allow instructional flexibility. This has been implemented using the frequently used forms of block-off-time schedules including the 4 by 4 semester plan and the eight-block alternating-day model. It has been designed to provide large blocks of time that allow students to concentrate on fewer subjects on a daily basis.
