Abstract |
This article focuses on the implementation of a composite schedule at Watauga High School in Boone, North Carolina. Watauga High School has developed an alternative schedule that blends traditional and block schedules. In implementing the schedule, the school created a scheduling team to provide information about course offerings, graduation requirements and other school information. After a schedule plan was formulated, this was explained to department chairmen, teachers and parents of students.
