Abstract |
"The The Standard for Initial Teacher Education (SITE) (pdf) was established to provide a comprehensive set of requirements for universities who offers programmes of Training to be a teacher in Scotland. The Standard specifies the standard of skills, abilities, knowledge, understanding and values which programmes of initial teacher education should address and asses. It is the first stage in the National Framework for CPD and is based on a vision of the newly qualified teacher, who, having successfully completed a programme of initial teacher education in Scotland."
