Research should produce findings that help us to do things better/more efficiently/lore effectiveley. But also, The practitioners must engage themselves, so that they can use their own research findings and those of their peers, to improve the quality of their practice (action research). How can we combine both approaches ? How can one advance a different way of understanding the potential value of research to policy and policy makers, and to practice and practitioners ?
