"How can we understand and theorize school leadership ? How can school leadership work towards enhancing student learning? What are the constraints and possibilities for school leadership at the beginning of the new century? This book examines the state of professional knowledge with regard to teaching and teacher education. The current situation of professional knowledge is scrutinized with particular regard to the location of educational study within the faculties of education.
